Would You Buy Your Building Again Today?
Most business owners bought their building for good reasons, often 10, 15 or 25 years ago. But businesses change: headcount shifts, operations evolve, and property values move.
It's worth asking every so often: Is the location still right? Is the space laid out efficiently? Are you paying to maintain space you no longer need? Could the capital tied up in the building be put to better use?
If the answer is "absolutely," that's valuable to know. If it's "probably not," it may be time to look at your options, from selling or leasing back to relocating or reconfiguring.
